<Hassan representing Jesus?>

(The Kite Runner)

First of all, Hassan could represent Jesus because he kept humble in times when he had advantage of the situation, and when he knew the answer. However, Hassan tried to listen to whom were babbling about his or her idea, in the Kite Runner, Amir's. Amir told Hassan story which was completely different from the original, and that was certainly planned by him to confuse Hassan. We can see that Hassan had been able to read and write when Amir was at the U.S. and he must have been baffled, but we can also see that Hassan will have understood Amir. Jesus, does almost the same thing at the day he stands on the cross. Bedro betrays Jesus three times at one day, but when later Jesus sees Bedro, he pretends to know nothing about Bedro's acts.

Furthermore, Hassan kept the secret to everybody-the secret which happened at the creek at the kite tournament. Amir hid from the terrible scene, and Hassan knew it. That was a very shameful act. But Hassan hid the truth, in order to protect Amir. Jesus can be held as a example here, the same one. Jesus hid Bedro's wrong-doings, well, all of his followers' wrongs. Jesus protected others, like Hassan protecting Amir.

At last, Hassan can be compared to Jesus because he stood up for others at his own personal risk, others who were weak and feared. For example, Hassan aimed his slingshot at Assef to stand up for Amir, who was being threatened by Assef. Later on, Hassan receives a terrifying revenge. At this point, the story Tae Baek SanMaek's character Shim Jae Mo can be discussed. General Shim let a grandmother to see her grandson, into a village full of communists. Shim gets intrigued by others who hated him, and later on, Shim earns a arrest, right to Seoul gendarme headquarters. Shim can be compared to Jesus because he was a solider who was broad-minded to all citizens, and who loved his own country.

In conclusion, Hassan can represent Jesus for the mentioned reasons above. Plus, if you didn't read Tae Baek SanMaek, read it. I strongly recommend. Anyway, this is the end. Good Bye!/ I had a hard time with this. I hope you have read it carefully.
